Very Dirty and smells bad. Carpet needs replaced. Bathroom doors don't lock. Toilet seat loose.
Waitress was very friendly, Hannah. :-)
    Food was good :-)

Been to plenty of Applebee's chains in my lifetime, but  this is my first visit at this location our Bartender was Jax very friendly, sociable willing to serve us at the bar made me a drink I've never had before was very tasty my husband and i order meals that we both can share so that we get the best of both worlds. He ordered the burger quesadilla with unlimited fries and i ordered the fireball whiskey bacon burger and  side of onion rings which both were very tasty flavorful a great tasting burger cooked perfectly. Will be back to visit Jax for sure!!

This Applebee's experience would have been great all by itself but especially after facing discrimination at another restaurant to where we were provided incentive to leave, coming here was so much a joy. We were not told that my daughter's wheelchair can't be near a booth, we were welcomed in, sat at a conveniently close booth and had an excellent time. Our waitress Mattie was so kind and helpful and ensured we had a great time. Thanks also to Mattie for taking this photo !

While traveling to Dayton, OH decided to take a short detour to IKEA and to grab a quick bite to eat. We initially decided on Applebee's as typically we can both eat there for $25 or less & service is usually fast.
Boy were we wrong with this particular West Chester, Ohio location Applebee's! Hoping the local manager sees this on Yelp as re-training of current staff (or replacing staff with new hires who care to do their job) seems to be needed here.
My husband and I walked in around 6 p.m and we were not greeted. The hostess stand sat empty with no employee present. O.k.... so the place is mostly empty... one semi large group at tables pushed together and possibly 6 other individual tables with 1-2 customers. We stood and waited....& waited.... made eye contact with the two un busy bartenders staring at us (yet failing to greet us or note that a hostess might be coming to seat us....).
At this point, we realized this location was woefully understaffed (one waitress seemed to be managing every table), 2 bar tenders stood doing nothing in the 5+minutes we stood at the empty hostess stand. We left and went right next door to dine at the delightfully friendly & well staffed Mexican restaurant instead. (My YELP review for THAT eatery also spells out the complete customer service failure at the neighboring Applebee's.)
Most Applebee's locations have closed in Louisville, Ky. Louisville is a foodie city of local original eateries that are highly acclaimed. While we trend towards original local eateries when we travel, occasionally we opt for a chain restaurant for lower cost and convenience. This day trip we had decided on an Applebee's stop. When we could not get anyone to seat us, luckily we found a plethora of other dining options nearby.
Our hometown Applebee's used to be a late night appetizers & drinks post date hang out occasionally. We were sad to see the locations begin closing one by one. Any locations like this one in Ohio that employ workers who could care less about greeting & seating potential customers, will likely follow the nationwide pattern of franchised Applebee's closings.

This was an extreme DISAPPOINTMENT. I don't care about what specials they have going on, I will pass. First the waitress walks past our table and says" I'll be with you when I can." Really?? So at that point we should have left but we thought well maybe she's just having a bad day.
Second, she finally comes to our table and says what would you like to drink... No Hello, No welcome to Apple B's-my reply was " Well how are you" she said "I'm exhausted and If you already know what you want, I can go ahead and put your order in..... Just like that.

At this point, we started to leave but because the kids were hungry and ready to eat, we stayed.

To make a long story short, from the waitress all the way to the manager, they simpley didn't give a dam how our dining experience was or went. From the ceiling dripping to the overly dry french fries, over cooked/burnt chicken breast & chicken tenders, I completely lost my appetite.

For this location to be in an upscale neighborhood, it's actually an embarrassment. Don't waste your money!
